This Space Has Rules. Good Ones.

We are committed to providing a harassment-free, inclusive experience for every attendee, speaker, sponsor, and volunteer — regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or nationality. "We don't tolerate harassment of any kind. If you witness or experience something, tell us immediately. We will act." All attendees agree to our Code of Conduct at registration. Violations are taken seriously and addressed swiftly. Our full policy covers expected behavior, reporting procedures, and enforcement responses. UX Austin is a professional community — and we take that seriously.

Don't Take Our Word For It

UX Austin is the only meetup I block my calendar for every single month. The speaker quality is legitimately conference-tier.

Jasmine Tran

Senior UX Researcher · Capital One

I left the design systems talk and immediately started a conversation with my director about overhauling our token architecture. That's the ROI of one evening.

Marcus Webb

Design System Lead · Dell Technologies

As someone who moved to Austin six months ago, this community is how I built my entire professional network here. Genuinely can't overstate it.

Questions We Get Every Month

How do I get tickets?
Hit the 'Reserve Your Seat' button anywhere on this page and fill out the interest form. Tickets are released four weeks before each event — you'll get an email when they drop. Events sell out. Register early.
Is there a cost to attend?
General admission is free thanks to our sponsors. A $10 suggested donation supports venue costs and scholarships for students and career-changers who need help covering travel.
Can I submit a talk proposal?
Absolutely. We program 3–4 months out and actively seek speakers from Austin companies of all sizes — not just big tech. Use the interest form and select 'Speaker' from the role dropdown.
What's the format?
Doors at 6:30 PM, lightning talks at 7:00 PM, main talk at 7:20 PM, open networking until 9:30 PM. The whole evening is designed to leave room for real conversation — not just passive consumption.
How can my company sponsor?
We have three tiers: Presenting ($3,500/event), Supporting ($1,500/event), and Community ($500/event). Each includes logo placement, email mentions, and an exhibitor table. Fill out the form and check the sponsorship box.
Is this accessible?
Yes. The Long Center is fully wheelchair accessible. We provide live captioning for all talks. If you have additional accessibility needs, email us at hello@uxaustin.com before the event.
